About The Trust

Sri Ranganatha Paduka Vidhyalaya Trust (SRPVT) which runs, Veda padasalas, Schools, a full-fledged college and Ghosala was founded at the divine direction of HH. Sri Vedantha Ramanuja Mahadesikan Sri. Thirukudanthai Andavan of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Periyashramam in the year 1968 by Sri T.S. Rajam, son of Sri T.V. Sundaram Iyengar founder of the TVS Group as the Founder Trustee. Other eminent trustees at the time of formation of the Trust included Sri T.S. Santhanam, son of Shri. T.V. Sundaram Iyengar; Smt. Prema Srinivasan, wife of Sri. T.S. Srinivasan; Sri K. Venkatachari, son of Late Sri R. Krishnamachariar; and Sri M. Srinivasan, son of Late R. Madhavachariar, who later become the Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Sri T.S. Rajam was the first Chairman and Sri M. Srinivasan was the first Secretary of the Trust.

Charitable & Social Reach Activities of The Trust

Sri Ranganatha Paduka Vidyalaya Trust, runs Veda Padasalas, Schools, a regular higher education institution, and Goshala, In its mission to maintain and encourage the Vedic studies Sanskrit, shastras and oriental knowledge, the Trust educates the interested youth from the marginalized section of the society in its Veda Padasalas run at seven different locations across India.

The Trust also engages in imparting higher education in its regular Autonomous college at Srirangam particularly from the marginalized and economically deprived section of the society situated in villages in and around 50 KMs radius from the college located in Srirangam , Thiruvanaikaval , Tamil Nadu. The Trust also maintains Ghosalas for protection of aged and distressed cows & Bulls at Srirangam and near Madurai where more than 200 cows are sheltered, fed and protected.

The Trust also runs two schools at Srirangam where students are given education at concessional fees with free transport facility.
